SystemWeaver completes company rebranding

SystemWeaver completes company re-branding with inauguration of new Head Office.

SystemWeaver, part of JCE and Viltor since 2019, provide tools helping teams in complex product development to stay in control. SystemWeaver has recently completed a brand exercise to better reflect the company’s technical depth, product offerings and the superior experience and performance of their platform. The work has included a refined value proposition and go-to-market approach, a clearer way to package the products and services and a bold new identity to support the new positioning.

On Friday, the 1st of March 2024, SystemWeaver hosted an inauguration and moving-in party of their new head office in Gothenburg.

“We are thrilled to be able to talk about SystemWeaver, our products and services in this new and bolder way. It gives a better view of our tech, our team and our culture as well as our focus to improve the experiences for our users. We want our new HQ to serve as a platform for partner- and client collaboration as well as allowing us to continue attract top talents within our industry”, says Daniel Åman, CEO of SystemWeaver.

Viltor strengthens the boards in SystemWeaver and Aliaro with Mats Fägerhag.

Mats Fägerhag has, as of February 2024, been appointed board member of SystemWeaver and Chairman of the Board in Aliaro.

“While focusing on different parts of the value chain, SystemWeaver and Aliaro have both created unique and high-value offerings to improve control and efficiency for the global automotive industry’s product development practices. They both come with impressive track records and with a strong owner in Viltor”, says Mats Fägerhag.

Mats have over 35 years of experience from research and development in the automotive industry and has for the past 10 years played a key role in the development and global expansion of Geely as CEO for China-Euro Vehicle Technology (CEVT). Prior to CEVT, Mats held leading positions in Volvo Cars, Saab Automobile and General Motors Europe.

“Mats has the perfect combination of skills to support SystemWeaver and Aliaro on their continued growth journeys while also bringing unique experiences of doing so while building innovation and culture-driven organizations. There are few people in Sweden with similar profiles where Mats knowhow of the ins and outs of the global automotive industry is the perfect complement to our existing boards”, says Erik Forslund, CEO of Viltor.

Viltor becomes majority owner in Aliaro

Viltor becomes majority owner in Aliaro, marking a strong commitment for the company’s continued growth together with the founders.

Viltor has acquired a majority stake in the Gothenburg based company Aliaro, which provide modular and future-proof Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test solutions for a wide range of industries around the world.

The acquisition marks the second investment in Aliaro, where JCE became minority owners in 2021 to support and finance global expansion. Since then, Aliaro has seen steep growth with main markets being Europe and US.

Aliaro was founded in 2014 and the founders will continue to support the company as part of the Aliaro team and minority owners. 

“We are very pleased with the impressive journey Aliaro has done to date and are now looking forward to continue supporting the team to build a global leader within HIL and test solutions”, says Erik Forslund, CEO of Viltor.
